WEBO goes virtually

With the help of our new VR glasses we are able to put our tools and systems into operation worldwide without the presence of technicians to perform service at site.
Especially in times of Corona, the procedure is a huge advantage in order to speed up processes.

The visual guidance and instructions simplifies knowledge transfer and the assembly process, accelerates problem solving and also trains our customers' employees as an additional benefit.

WEBO can significantly increase with the VR technology the service speed. It saves costs for the customer, because our specialist does not have to be present at site. Augmented Reality is the new service standard at WEBO for tool and machine services.

WEBO GmbH is opening a new branch in China from February 2020

WEBO will be opening a new subsidiary under the name WEBO Asia in Nanjing China on 1 February 2020. To begin with, the newly established company will serve as a sales base and will soon open a local tool manufacturing centre as a joint venture close to Nanjing.

As weil as faster availability of spare parts and greatly improved customer proximity and reactivity, from a strategic point of view the manufacture of complete tools for the Asian market at the China site will be achieved with the support of the technical expertise existing at the established sites.
WEBO Asia Ltd will be represented locally by Mr Jeffrey Nie, Managing Director Asia, who will also coordinate the markets in South Korea and Japan.

Against the background of globalisation and demand from our customers for greater reactivity alongside the best quality, opening a site in China was a logical and sensible next step. Within WEBO'S international manufacturing network, all subsidiary companies and customers in Europe and the USA will benefit from the opening of this new site, says Axel Wittig, WEBO group owner.
