History

Flexibility and reliability are not opposites

From 2008 to today, WEBO GmbH has developed into a reliable provider of services, material development, tool construction and series pressings. WEBO has made a name for itself worldwide with its patents, especially in drive technology.

2024

Start of series production
Commissioning of the plants and start of series production. Automotive share of sales only 20%.

2022

Intensification of non-automotive business
Start of the customer relationship with SRAM and intensification of non-automotive business with e.g. Aguti/Alko. Start of investments in a new press for series production as well as in washing and oven systems.

2021

Reorientation
Start of the reorientation –> market expansion and new co-shareholders.
WEBO GmbH cooperates with the SCHULER group of companies. The SCHULER group of companies now includes 12 companies with a total of 22 locations in Germany and Switzerland.

2020

Corona and automobile crisis
Corona and automobile crises lead to the worst corporate result in the company's history, 96% automobile share of sales.

2018

Anniversary 10 years WEBO
Strongest year in company history with sales revenues of €17.5 million.

2017

Highest number of employees
Number of employees increases to approx. 100 people.

2016

Toolmaking of the Year

Overall winner of toolmaking of the year for the 2nd time.

2014

State Prize Baden-Württemberg

Receipt of the Baden-Württemberg State Prize.

2013

Investment & Toolmaking of the Year

Investment in a servo-mechanical try-out press with 6700 kN, make Aida.
Overall winner of toolmaking of the year.

2012

Investment in a fully comprehensive mechanical production for tool elements.

2011

German Founder Prize

WEBO GmbH receives the German Founders Award.

2010

investment

Purchase of the first milling and turning machine.

2008

Foundation

Establishment of a tool manufacturing facility on a greenfield site with 5 employees. Design and assembly of tools for transmission parts (automotive).
